My Review:
After a break-up that leaves her vulnerable, Angela agrees to date her coworker. Things get off on the wrong foot, so he tries to make it up to her by inviting her to his house on Christmas. What Angela doesn’t know is that lover boy has a special meal planned, one he simply cannot create without a little “help” from her.
There’s a reason why you don’t want to be the rebound guy, and here’s a good reminder! Shane thought he was oh-so-clever with the cleaver! Well, everyone has their preferences for Christmas dinner. At least Angela can be a good sport about it. And find healing in a good way! I enjoyed reading this story. I read it in Brandon’s book, An Inspiration for Your Nightmares, and I was happy to see this story again in this series. Reading it again was just as good. What a delightfully tasty morsel of a story this is. Read this one if you think you can “stomach” it!
